“Find out what people want and give it to them”
Few words but they form the foundation of a successful make money online business.
Many people who have been doing make money at home businesses are doing this by conducting surveys, asking subscribers, going to forums and browsing article directories.
Well, if you find those things overwhelming, relax as there’s a lot of help coming.
Let’s start with http://www.43things.com
This is a site where members answer the question, “What do you want with your life?” It’s a nice site.
As I wrote this there were over 3 million people who list their goals people revealing what they want to do. Some of the “wants” I discovered were: get out of debt, save money, lose 20 pounds, create computer game, quit smoking, write a book, and much much more. Amazing!
To get new selections, just click the refresh button of your firefox or internet explorer and new selections will be highlighted.
You can then jot down these selections and keep them for further probing later by using our keyword selector tool.
The exercise using “43things” is tremendously effective especially when you’re just starting out, when you are at a loss of what is it you are going to start.
The other ways which I also recommend in how to find a profitable market are also great places to start. They include ehow, amazon, meet-up, hobbies list, Wikipedia and mygoals.
You can also try magazines.com and browse for smaller and specialized publications. There’s a bulky selection of craft magazines. People simply love their hobbies and crafts make a big part of it.
Now, how about ebay.com? One of the internet originals. It’s the site where millions of people are searching, looking for things that they want. A large part of the things being searched at ebay are physical products.
Did you know Ebay can help find what products are in high demand? Check out http://pulse.ebay.com/ There you will find a list of the most popular searches
Have you tried going to Shopping.com? You’ll be stunned as you will discover not only the products that are hotly searched but also the keywords! Unbelievable.
How to Get What You Want While Helping Others Get What They Want By energyguild, eHow Member
I have heard a lot of people that I work with lately complaining about their job and how no one appreciates what they do and how they are sick of the same old crap. Finally, after the 10th time hearing this the other day I asked a guy, “So then why are you doing this?” His response was simple. “I have to pay the bills somehow.”
This is true. But why does work have to be WORK. Why can’t it be fun. Sure there are always going to be some things that you don’t want to do. But all in all, everyone deserves to like what they do. They just have to be willing to go get it.
Things You’ll Need:
• Good friend or close relative
The first step in getting out of your current funk is to sit down and think about what you would really like to be doing. Research these few things and find out what it would take to do them. Remember. Rome wasn’t built in a day and the path you choose now may take some time to travel down.
Get a plan. Figure out if you need schooling, how much you can handle while still doing your job.
YOU WILL HAVE TO SACRIFICE SOMETHING!!!
This will be the hardest part of this process. But you will be richer in mind and body because of the commitment that you have put toward this goal.
Also, get your family involved. Get their input on your ideas and their advise. Do not be surprised if you get some push back on this as they may not agree with your decision. If this is important to you, it may influence your path.
BEFORE YOU START YOUR ENDEVOR, ASK YOURSELF OUT LOUD WHILE LOOKING IN THE MIRROR, “IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?” If you can’t answer yourself honestly, go back to step 1 and start over. You may do this several times before you find what you are looking for. If you are convinced that this is your path, start walking.
The way to start your journey is by getting involved with this profession. If you are a maintenance guy at a school that desperately wants to be a doctor, get a maintenance job at a hospital so you can get accustomed to the environment. Once you have signed up for classes, let other doctors and nursing staff know what you are doing. Some will blow you off, but most will embrace you because IT TAKES GUTS to go after something you want.
They will also be your shoulder to cry on as they will understand what you are going through because they went through the same thing. This is true of anything. You need to surround yourself with this environment. It will catapult your success rate from unlikely to almost certain.
Find out how you can help others achieve their goals and dreams. If someone wants to quit and they have been working for a long time toward this goal, encourage them to finish. The more people you encourage, the more you believe in yourself. At the same time, you are helping them which should make you feel good.
The final step is to find someone you know who will not let you quit. Too many people surround themselves with negative thinkers when times get tough. Surround yourself with one or two really positive people and listen to what they have to say. Then keep going. The path is bumpy and hilly and will NOT be easy.
After a lot of hard work and years of helping others and yourself finish goal after goal, you have made it. You are what you wanted to be and you EARNED it yourself. Congratulations and remember your journey so you can keep helping others on their path and they can help you continue your own journey.
